Philanthropy Nigeria aims to build the capacity of Nigerian charitable organizations in an effort to reduce redundancy and create greater impact in Nigeria. The website offers tools and resources to help NGOs — public, private, and corporate funders, as well as those seeking funding — in their efforts to improve Nigerian communities. The tools and resources available include a map that visualizes funding patterns, a collection of reports and webinars for grantseekers to gain skills and knowledge, and Foundation Center Updater, a tool for grantmakers to share their grantmaking activity.
Philanthropy Nigeria is a service of Foundation Center and was developed in cooperation with Funding Information Network Partners in Nigeria, and with the generous support of the Ford Foundation.
